Funny thing. I was raised to show respect to my elders by NEVER calling them by their first name. When I got married, I had a problem. Didn't want to call my in-laws "Mom" and "Dad". I already had some. Seemed a little disrespectful to my own. But I still (31) years later, struggle calling them by their first names (well, Lark's gone so really just Genevieve). It was extremely awkward for years. I tried not to call them anything. PLEASE, call me Julie. Also, what a prolific writer you are. You should publish. Seriously. Mark, You don’t HAVE a bite.
